I could not be happier with the service I received from Karen at Luxe de Fleur Boudoir. She was extremely personable from the first consultation call. I felt super comfortable speaking with her and immediately booked my session. She reached out several times in the interim (the time between booking and the actual session) to let me know what to expect and offer suggestions on things to do before the big day! The whole thing put me so at ease, so by the time we got to the photo shoot, I had very little anxiety.

Her hair and makeup artist Sara worked with me to achieve the look I wanted. She even gave me some tips for doing my makeup myself. When it came time for the actual photos to be taken, I felt a little nervous about being in lingerie in front of someone NOT my husband, but that went away within minutes. Karen has a calming personality, and she's extremely professional. She modeled the poses first and directed me through each step of the process! It ended up being really fun to feel like a "real" model for a few hours. I went to lunch after the shoot and came back to view the finished photos and select what I wanted to buy. I could hardly believe that what I was seeing was me!

Absolutely amazing, I felt so confident and beautiful. My make up, my hair, the poses, everything is curated to make you feel like a goddess. My pictures turned out so gorgeous, I could barely narrow my selections down. You can tell Karen truly takes pride in what she does, that she wants her clients to have an amazing experience and she does that by taking her time, continuing to learn and hone her craft and really listening to her clients. If you are thinking about doing a Boudoir photoshoot, stop thinking about it and book one with Karen and her team at Luxe de Fleur Boudoir! I had been wanting to do this as a gift to my husband for years but kept putting it off. Karen responded to my initial request so quickly and she answered all of my questions. Upon arrival to the shoot I was greeted by Karen and her makeup artist Katie and they put me right at ease. I loved my makeup and hair and Katie was very sweet and friendly. Karen was AMAZING. She made me feel confident and beautiful in every outfit and pose. The process of choosing photos was much harder than I thought! But Karen walked me through it and was so very helpful. I was so nervous going into this experience. Boudoir was way out of my comfort zone & and to be honest I wasn't sure I had the confidence to pull this off. From the moment I stepped in the door Karen made the entire experience comfortable. Sara, her make-up artist made me look amazing!!! She was so kind and even took time to answer personal questions I had about my every day make up. Karen herself is just absolutely wonderful. I truly could not say enough kind words about this woman. I would absolutely recommend Karen! The day started with hair and makeup and outfit assortment. She went over step by step each pose and was the #1 hype girl! I posed in all the different outfits and when i came back she helped me sort through the perfect pictures for my soon to be husband! I was so anxious and nervous as this was something completely out of my comfort zone, but she made that completely go away the moment I pulled up. This was my first time doing anything like this. I was so nervous. Sara and Karen were wonderful. So easy to talk to and made me feel very comfortable!! The make up Sara did was gorgeous!!! My eyes have never popped that much!! I loved it! The photoshoot itself was a wonderful experience! Karen is the perfect hype girl!! She made me feel so comfortable! You can tell she is very passionate about what she does!! I was hoping to at least like 10 photos!! Well I liked a lot more and had to narrow it down a lot! At first, I was really nervous. Almost immediately Karen saw this and quickly put my mind at ease. While you get to pick what to wear and what you are most confident in, Karen picks the line up/order -and for good reason. She has an amazing skills for all things photography. One thing that stuck out to me was her unique ability to choose the right outfit for the right scene/background, particularly with the colors and lighting. Being able to have a day that focused on beauty was something I definitely needed. Sarah was amazing while doing hair and make-up, she listened and was open to different ideas of how I wanted to look for the photos. Karen was beyond amazing! I have always wanted to try this, however when I was much younger and more fit and comfortable with my body. I'm 63 and a newlywed after a very difficult loss of my husband. I found love again! With that said, and being a senior woman, I decided it's now or never to do this for my new husband. He always tells me I'm beautiful, but at this point in my life it's hard for me to see it. I must say Karen was extremely comfortable to work with. She complemented me and she told me how wonderful my pictures were going to be but even at that point I wasn't sure. Wow!! OMG! I can't get over how beautiful they were and how difficult it was to decide on photos! She's amazing... Do this for yourself as a woman no matter what is going on in your life to feel good about you your body and where you are in your life no matter how old you are. She makes you feel beautiful! Hands down one of the best experiences I have ever had! I had wanted to do a boudoir shoot for several years and finally decided to go for it! Karen was so fast to respond to my initial inquiry and had answered all of my questions before I even had a chance to ask them! She kept in touch with me up to the shoot date, sent a guide with information and ideas for outfits, reviewed my outfits prior to make sure I had a nice selection and made the entire process so comfortable and enjoyable! This is a must do for ANY woman, regardless of age or size! Even though it's way out of my comfort zone, I figured there was no better way to celebrate turning 40. After researching quite a few places, I found Luxe De Fleur Boudoir. Karen was extremely helpful from the beginning with help on outfits and how to prepare for the big day. On shoot day, I was immediately at ease (and the complimentary mimosa helped! haha). Sara, the hair and makeup stylist, was very knowledgeable and gave me lots of helpful tips while making me feel beautiful. When it was time to shoot, I thought it would be incredibly awkward but it was far from it. Karen was great at showing all the different poses, even getting on the floor to show you herself! I couldn't believe how fast the time went. The big highlight was you get to see your images that day...and they were amazing! I saw her photos of other women but never thought MY images would look like those...I'm far from model type! Haha If you get anything from this review...just book the shoot!
